The people of Owala community in Owerri North Local Government Area are protesting alleged Government forceful take over of their ancestral land with out compensation.
In a protest in the community, the people said they were not consulted as Government did to other neighbouring Communities before bringing bulldozer machine to clear their lands for allocation.
But the Commissioner for lands Noble Atulegwu said the areas are part of government acquired lands for Development.
