The Inspector General Of Police, Mohammed Adamu and other Service Chiefs in the country have briefed President Muhammadu Buhari on the security situation in Nigeria.
The IGP told state house correspondents that the security situation is stable as there has been drastic drop in reported cases of armed banditry, kidnappings and other violent crimes.
Nigeria’s top police officers also blamed politicians for the violence that marred the conduct of the governorship election in Kogi and Bayelsa states.
