Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris , visited some schools in Yobe State, promising to increase security surveillance.
But he cancelled his trip to Dapchi, after it was rumoured that Boko Haram fighters were on their way to deliver the last schoolgirl, held in their captivity.
He said the students don’t need to worry about their safety while studying in schools, promising to increase police officers that will guard them.
The students were delighted about the police boss promise.
