Governor Seyi Makinde, has reacted to the recent attack by suspected Fulani herdsmen on residents of Igangan in Ibarapa local government of Oyo State.
The governor advised resident of the state to keep calm in a message on his official Facebook page.
The post quoted the governor as saying security operatives are in control of the situation of the fresh attack by bandits in Igangan, one of the towns in Ibarapa North local government.
According to him, “I received the news of the attack on resident of Igangan in the early hours of this morning”.
The Governor also expressed sadness over the news and condoled with the families of the affected.
