The third entourage of Zamfara state pilgrims has returned home safely after completion of this year’s pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.
The pilgrims expressed appreciation to the Zamfara state for it’s assistance both at home and in the holy land.
Ibrahim Bello reports that the premises of the hajj commission was full to capacity with food vendors and other petty traders having a field day.
The pilgrims are from the first, second and third flight numbering more than one thousand, seven hundred.
Some of the pilgrims interviews expressed their happiness at having the opportunity to be part of this year’s pilgrimage.
Security personnel have had their hands full clearing pilgrims in order for them to have access to their luggage while voluntary organizations have been equally busy assisting the pilgrims.
The transportation of pilgrims from Saudia Arabia back to Zamfara state was successful despite the current industrial action embarked on by the workers in Zamfara state.
