On the ninth day of dhul hijjah in the Islamic calendar, Muslims from all over the world ascend the sacred Mount Arafah, also known as Mount of Mercy, to mark the culmination of this year’s Hajj activity.
Over two million Muslims from all over the world have gathered in Saudi Arabia to attend the 2024 hajj.
Arafah is frequently associated with hot temperatures. According to Saudi authorities, the temperature can reach fifty degrees Celsius.
The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria has previously encouraged Nigerian pilgrims to drink lots of water and stay in their own tents to supplicate and do all acts of worship.
But some Nigerians went up to Mount Arafat to perform acts of worship to the Almighty .
Some Islamic Scholars , urged Nigerians to pray for the country and her leaders at all times no matter the situation.
Nigerian pilgrims are encouraged to adhere to the rules and regulations set up by Saudi authorities.
