Gunmen have reportedly kidnapped the Priest of Saint Johns Catholic Church in Chikun local Government area of Kaduna state.
Two of his security guards were also allegedly killed before the priests was whisked away to an unknown destination.
Although the Kaduna State government and Police authorities in the state are yet to comment on the latest development, sources in the area say the terrorists stormed their community around 2 am on Tuesday morning.
The Source added that the terrorists shot sporadically in the air to cause panic and thereafter invaded at least three other houses where they also abducted residents.
