As the campaigns for the 2023 general election kick off in full swing, the Big Tent coalition has unveiled the list of members of the Big Tent Campaign Council.

It also announced members of the Policy Review and Future watch team, and the Deep Dive Committees that support each of the 37 focal persons of the policy team.

The mission of the Big Tent, a coalition of political parties, social movements, civil society organisations and candidate support groups which make up the Third Force, is to rescue Nigeria from poor governance.

The group according to its founders and members is geared towards making the emergence of bad leaders a difficult task in the 2023 Election.

This according to them will help in hastening National Development and giving us all a Nigeria of our dreams and one that the citizens will be proud.

They say that bad leadership has been the bane of National Development and Unity and needs to be worked against in the 2023 Election.

The 2023 Election is the point at which the President Muhammadu Buhari led administration is to be succeeded by a new President while across the States most governors are in their Second term and will also be succeeded by new helmsmen at the States.

The 2015 Election which gave birth to the Muhammadu Buhari administration was a milestone in the history of Nigeria as it marked the failure of the doomsday prediction that the Country will break apart.

Though challenges remain, the 2023 Election is expected to be a stiff contest between the Presidential candidates of the four leading parties , Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigerian Peoples Party and Mr Peter Obi of the Labour Party.

The objectives of groups like the Big Tent is to ensure the emergence of the right leaders across the country and institution of good leadership and governance to enhance and hasten National development.
