Gov’s Wife Settles Medical Bills for Patients at Zamfara Hospital

As part of her end-of-year 2025 humanitarian outreach, the Wife of Zamfara State Governor, Huriyya Dauda Lawal, provided financial support to patients admitted at Yariman Bakura Specialist Hospital (YBSH) in Gusau.

According to a statement signed by her Press Secretary, Rabi Yusuf, each patient received N150,000 in cash to help cover medical bills and ease other financial challenges.

The First Lady emphasised the importance of compassion and care for the sick, highlighting that supporting vulnerable members of society is a key focus of her humanitarian efforts.

She also noted that her initiatives complement the state government’s commitment to improving the welfare of its citizens.

During the visit, Huriyya Lawal offered prayers for the speedy recovery of all patients and reassured them of the government’s continued support for their wellbeing.

Beneficiaries expressed heartfelt gratitude to the First Lady, describing her gesture as thoughtful, compassionate, and impactful.
