The wife of the Ogun State Governor, Olufunso Amosun has led Cancer Awareness Campaign programme to Ota Area in the order to educate women across the state about the danger of cancer and advantages of early
detection.
Speaking about the project, Olufunso Amosun said the time is ripe to take the campaign to the nook and crannies of the state in order to reduce the number of cancer related death in the country.

On his part, the state Commissioner for Health, Babatunde Ipaye noted that Ogun state government has trained more than sixty nurses at across the state to help discover more cases at the early stage and they are positioned strategically across major health facilities in the state.
