Four suspected transformer vandals, other criminals paraded in Oyo

Oyo State Police Command officers have paraded some suspects accused of vandalising and stealing a transformer and electrical appliances

The Police also paraded other suspects arrested for illegal possession of firearms.

The Oyo state police command assured residents of it’s unwavering commitment in ensuring that the state remains inhabitable for criminals.

The Spokesperson of the Oyo state command, Adewale Osifeso disclosed this while parading suspected criminals at the headquarters of the Police in Eleyele area of Ibadan.

Amongst those paraded were some former staff of The National Electricity Power Authority who were arrested for vandalising a 333KVA transformer at Ogbomoso town.

The suspects said they had been in the business of vandalising and selling the equipment for two years.
