Fountain Varsity VC tasks Islamic Institutions on nation building

The Vice Chancellor of the Fountain University, Osogbo, Professor Abdullateef Usman has said Islamic Institutions of higher learning must bring to the consciousness of their students, the need to be productive and morally upright for the Country to be great.

Professor Usman stated this in Osogbo at a Conference on Islamic University with the theme, “Islamic Universities: Integration of Knowledge and Sustainability”.

He urged the Islamic Universities to strive to become global citadel of learning that would be interdependent and make positive impacting.

He also encouraged proprietors and management of Islamic private Universities to charge affordable fee so that children of the less privileged could afford

The southwest coordinator of Islamic Universities in the southwest, Professor Daood Naibi stressed the need for religious and moral teaching in the faith based universities.
