Zamfara West Senatorial Zone has six Local Government areas Anka, Bukkuyum, Gummi, Bakura, Maradun and Talata Mafara
Addressing Large crowd of party faithfuls and Supporters, the former governor says Zamfara is fully an APC State, United and one big Family
He urge the people to vote for the party at all levels come 2023
The two term former governor also denied stories making the round that he is playing an underground move to work against the party and some candidates Including the Governorship Candidate of the APC Bello Matawalle in next year’s elections
He noted that contrary to speculations being peddled by some unpatriotic members of the party, he had never directed anyone to work against APC candidates vying for various positions across the state
“I call on all APC members across the fourteen local government Councils of the state to ensure unreserved support for all the candidates ahead of the 2023 elections under our great party from Governorship, State and National Assembly and the presidency” Yari said
“I am aware that some unpatriotic politicians in the party have been contracted by some faceless anti-democratic political class to do all they could with a view to derail the APC from It’s expected victories come 2023”, Yari revealed.
“A baseless and unfounded speculation in circulation had it that, I have directed my teeming supporters across the state only to vote in my favour during Presidential/Senatorial election and vote for another gubernatorial candidate from another political party, I assure you that this is a mere lie and mischievous against my personality”. He cleared the air
Those in attendance at the event include former Governor Mamuda Aliyu Shinkafi, former Deputy Governor Mukhtari Anka, Fmr. Minister of state foreign affairs Senator Yahaya Kaura, APC Governorship Candidate in the 2019 General election Kogunan Gusau, Zamfara State APC Chairman Tukur Danfulani among other party Chieftains.
