First Lady of Nigeria, Oluremi Tinubu, is visiting Niger State to provide support for victims of recent disasters.
Her visit focuses on communities affected by floods, bandit attacks, boat mishaps, and fire outbreaks across the State.
She is accompanied by the wives of governors from Nasarawa, Taraba, Bayelsa, Ogun, Gombe, Oyo, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kebbi, and Ekiti states, as well as wives of senators and security chiefs.
The visit aims to bring relief and solidarity to communities affected by recent tragedies.
The visit also mark the Formal launch of the renewed hope initiative in Niger State in partnership with the Tony Elumelu foundation.
500 individuals will receive economic support and empowerment in Niger State.
It is a collaboration between public and private institutions to bring change in livelihoods.
The renewed hope initiative is donating 1 billion naira to victims of disasters in Niger State.
The funds according to first lady, Oluremi Tinubu, will be disbursed towards housing and getting personal supplies for victims of flood and Other disasters in the State.
