The Federal Ministry of Youth Development, in partnership with Investonaire Academy, is set to unveil a new Financial Literacy, Investment, and Wealth Creation Programme aimed at equipping young Nigerians with essential financial management skills and digital competencies for long-term economic empowerment.

The launch is scheduled for Tuesday, 25 November 2025, at the Rainbow Event Marquee Centre in Abuja, commencing at 9:00 a.m. The event will also be streamed live via Zoom to enable wider participation across the country.

According to the Ministry, the initiative is designed to enhance financial capability, promote responsible investment culture, and support sustainable wealth creation among Nigerian youths. The programme will be powered by a modern Learning Management System (LMS), offering free national financial literacy training targeting over 100,000 young people annually.

Participants in the programme will also gain access to funded trading accounts and additional incentives for exceptional performance, the Ministry said.

The Honourable Minister of Youth Development, Comrade Ayodele Olawande, will serve as the Chief Host of the launch ceremony, while the Minister of Women Affairs, Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, will attend as Special Guest of Honour.

Other key stakeholders expected at the event include senior government officials, development partners, private sector leaders, and youth representatives.

Notable participants include Dr. Enefola Odiba, International Programme Director at Investonaire Academy, and Mr. Bashir Nurmohamed, Chief Executive Officer of Hantec Markets.

A high-level panel session featuring experts from government, the financial industry, and the business community will examine strategies for expanding youth wealth creation and fostering inclusive economic growth.

The Ministry encouraged interested young Nigerians to register for the programme via the official portal at www.investonaire.org.

The initiative, it added, underscores the Federal Government’s sustained efforts to advance financial inclusion, promote digital learning, and empower young people in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
