The Federal Government wants Corporate Affairs Commission to extend by three months, the special window for micro small and medium enterprises.
This comes by successes recorded in the first 50% discount window for business registration as it increased from 54,000 to 163,000 within six months.
This was disclosed by Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, at the first quarter MSMEs stakeholder meeting in Abuja.

The government introduced the special business name registration window of 50% discount through the Corporate Affairs Commission to help many MSMEs formalize their businesses.
The Vice President urged the Standard Organisation of Nigeria and National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control to harmonise extending responsibilities for product registration.
