The Federal Government has released the list of shortlisted candidates for recruitment into the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigerian Correctional Service (NCS), and the Federal Fire Service (FFS).
The announcement was made by the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) on behalf of the government.
In a public notice, the Board’s Secretary, Maj. Gen. Abdulmalik Jibril (Rtd.), advised applicants to visit the official recruitment portal, https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng, starting Thursday, October 30, 2025, to confirm their shortlisting status and view the centres for the Computer-Based Test (CBT).

The statement emphasised that all shortlisted candidates should carefully note the date, venue, and time of their CBT as listed on the portal.
Jibril also warned applicants to be vigilant against fraudsters, stressing that only information from the CDCFIB official website is authentic.
The recruitment exercise covers four major paramilitary agencies under the Board’s supervision: NCS, NIS, FFS, and NSCDC.
