The Enugu North Senatorial District Election Campaign Council of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has commenced grassroots mobilization to ensure landslide victory for Enugu State Governor and PDP senatorial candidate for the district, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and the PDP governorship candidate in the state, Peter Ndubuisi Mbah.
Speaking at an event marking the commencement of activities at the campaign office, the Group disclosed that the party, after assessing the six-year achievements of Governor Ugwuanyi”s administration, necessitate the endorsement for him to contest for the senatorial seat.
The structure known as “PDP Enugu North Senatorial Campaign Councill led by Prof. Simon Uchenna Ortuanya and Dr. Vincent Egechukwu Obetta as Chairman of the Board and Director General (DG) of the campaign council
The members expressed hope that Governor Ugwuanyi’s senatorial bid will bring immense benefits to the district in addition to the remarkable achievements the governor brought to the area in the last seven years and seven months.
They enumerate the good works of the Governor in Enugu State, particularly in Enugu North Senatorial District, according to them,.it speak volumes and would serve as their selling points in forthcoming senatorial election.
