Muslims have been urged to continue so show love, sacrifice and live in peace with one another, in line with the dictates of Almighty Allah and the message of Eid-el-Kabir.
The Minority Whip of the Ogun State House of Assembly and a member representing Ijebu North 1 State Constituency, Abdulrasheed Kashamu made this known after the 2024 Eid prayer and the sharing of gifts for his constituents.
As Muslims across the world observed the two rakat Eid El Kabir prayer, Muslims have been urged to continue to promote peace, show love, give to the needy and sacrifice for one another in accordance with the teachings of Islam.
The Minority Whip of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Abdulrasheed Kashamu who joined other prominent sons and daughters of Ijebuland to observed his prayer at the Ijebu Igbo Eid praying ground made this known while speaking about the significance of the festival.

After the the prayer, he proceeded to his house where he attended to thousands of residents of Ijebu Igbo and other constituents who flooded his residence to get food items and financial support, in continuation of the foundation laid by his late father, Buruji Kashamu.
He also admonished Nigerians to continue to support their leaders, as government cannot do it alone without the support of the people.
Beneficiaries including children, widows, persons living with disabilities, the elderly ones and non Indigenes living in the community were full of appreciation.
They say the gesture the state Lawmaker was a continuation of the foundation laid by his father Buruji Kashamu and it will go a long way in helping those who are in need and put smile on their faces despite their challenges.
