Governor of Kogi State, Usman Ododo has called on Muslims to embrace the values of sacrifice, obedience, and unity as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim in his Eid el-Kabir broadcast.
In a statewide address, Governor Ododo congratulated Muslims in Kogi, and across the world, urging them to pray for peace, security, and economic prosperity in the state and the nation at large.

He emphasised his commitment to unity and development, highlighting ongoing efforts to boost security, infrastructure, agriculture, education, healthcare, and job creation across all communities in the state.
The governor also expressed support for President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, describing it as a foundation for a prosperous Nigeria.
He encouraged citizens to show compassion, forgive one another, and support the less privileged during the celebrations.
