The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has handed over 14 properties to the Enugu State Government which was earlier forfeited to the federal government through prosecution.
Receiving documents ceding the properties back to the State Governor of the State Peter Mba, assures that the properties will be put to good use.
The EFCC had commenced investigation and prosecution on the said properties since 2007 and has been managing them since then.

After securing judgment the commission approached the president with a request seeking to return the properties to the State, which the president granted.
Among these properties are a medical centre, real estate and radio/ television transmission equipment.
