The first extraordinary session of the ECOWAS Parliament’s 5th legislative for 2022 was used to discuss increased insecurity in the region as well as the political situations in Mali, Guinea, and Burkina Faso.
The Extraordinary Summit was called to look at recent political developments in Burkina Faso, Guinea, and Mali in order to ensure that constitutional order is restored in these countries.
