The 2022 crucial US midterm election will be held on Nov. 8, but early voting is already underway and candidates are making their closing arguments.
It was a packed house with voters coming out to see former president Barack Obama who marked Las Vegas as one of his key stops around the country to encourage not only voting but early voting.
Both the former president and governor Steve Sisolak touched on one of the biggest issues at the center of the political spectrum – women’s reproductive rights.
President Obama also focused on other key issues towards the coming election day… including gas prices, the need for affordable health care, and housing. The former president made it clear that he wants Nevada democrats to continue fighting.
Meanwhile, early voting for the midterms is already underway in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
In August 2020, Kenosha was thrust into the world spotlight after a White police officer shot Jacob Blake, a Black man.
Black voters in Wisconsin are expected to have a say and make their voices heard in the upcoming elections.
