The Peoples Democratic Party Vice-Presidential Candidate and Governor of Delta state Ifeanyi Okowa, says his principal, Atiku Abubakar, will ensure that Petroleum Industry Act is fully enforced, including the vital provision on host communities’ fund, if elected to be President in February 2023.
Governor Okowa who made this promise at PDP’s Governorship Campaign Flag-off in Warri South and Uvwie Local Government Areas, assured that when elected, Atiku-Okowa administration would change the poor conditions in the oil-bearing areas through full implementation of the Act.

The peoples democratic party kicked off its local government areas campaign in Patani Council area as Governor Okowa, former governor Emmanuel Uduaghan, Governorship Candidate Sheriff Oborevwori urged residents to vote PDP all the way.
The campaign train then moved to Isoko north, at the University of science and technology where supporters waited patiently.
Warri South was their next stop as the Vice Presidential Candidate assured Deltans and the people of Niger Delta of the intention of his principal, to ensure full implementation of the Petroleum Industry Act if elected.
The campaign rounded off at the Uvwie council area and the Party is expected to continue the rally after the Christmas break.
