customs-newThe Tincan Island Customs Command has uncovered a twenty foot container of processed local Nigerian food.

The container was found to contain about 1,400 cartons of ready to eat jollof rice, porridge beans, egusi soup among others.

Handing over the consignment to officials of the National Food and Drugs Administration and Control for analysis, the Area Comptroller of the Command, Yusuf Bashar condemned the importation of Nigerian local food from India.
