Several customers have gathered at the MTN premises in Ibadan, seeking reactivation of their SIM cards.
Many complained that they were denied access to calls, due to failure to link their National Identity Number (NIN) with their lines.
However, some customers said that their lines were reactivated after dialing *966*1#, a code provided by MTN staff.
Unfortunately, this solution did not work for the majority.
