A group of Civil Society Organizations knows as the Osun Masterminds’ is calling for the shutting down of public and private schools in the state pending the time issues causing scarcity of fuel will be resolved.

The Coalition also called for the immediate sack of the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu over persistent blackout in the country.

The fuel scarcity is already biting harder in every part of Osun State.

Many motorists have since been passing nights at fuel stations so as to get the product.

However, pupils of public primary and secondary schools resumed for the third term of 2023/2024 academic session on Monday and getting to their various schools have become difficult.

Many of them had to trek for hours in the morning and while returning home in the afternoon.

The Group is also calling for the removal of Minister of power from office over epileptic power being experienced in every part of the Country.

While commending the state Government on the ongoing road projects in Osogbo, the group wants better coordination from the Contractor.

Effort to speak with the state Commissioner for education for his reaction on the shutting down of school as proposed by the coalition was not successful.
