Olufemi Akande, TVC News’ deputy Bureau Chief, Abuja, has emerged the Nigeria Media Merit Award Best Reporter of the Year in the television category.
Mr Akande beats other finalists from Channels, Arise News, African Independent Television and a host of others to emerge victorious.
The event was still ongoing in Lokoja as at the time of filing this report.
