President Muhammadu Buhari has signed the 2019 Appropriation bill of N8.91 trillion into law few weeks after it was passed by the National Assembly.
The President’s assent of the bill signals the commencement of the 2019 fiscal budget.
Lawmakers had, on April 30th, passed the 2019 budget of 8.91 trillion naira.
This surpassed the figure of 8.83 trillion naira which had been proposed by the executive.
