The Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) has suspended its strike action after reaching an agreement with the management of Dangote Refinery.
In a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by both parties, NUPENG said it resolved to shelve the planned strike following the outcome of negotiations.
Details of the agreement have not been made public, but the union noted that the resolution addressed key issues that prompted the industrial action.
