The Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has declared his intention to run for President of Nigeria in the 2027 general election.
Governor Makinde made the declaration during a unity mega rally organised by the Peoples Democratic Party and the Allied Peoples’ Movement at Mapo Hall in Ibadan.
Both parties had earlier signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen their alliance and work together towards unseating the ruling All Progressives Congress in future elections.
