Unknown gunmen have abducted George Agbabou Week, father of the Bayelsa State Commissioner for Agriculture, Doodei Week.
He was abducted from his home at Ayama-Ijaw in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of the state.
The incident reportedly happened in the early hours of Thursday.
This latest abduction is coming barely twenty four hours after five gunmen abducted two persons in Amarieri community, Bonny Island government area of Rivers state.
