The youth, women and the elderly have received cash incentives to promote small and medium enterprises development in Burutu and Patani Local Government Areas of Delta State and some communities in Ekeremor Council Area of Bayelsa State.
Fifty persons benefited from the programme in Tuomo which marked the 49th birthday of Niger Delta activist and peace advocate Chief Mike Ekayama-Loyibo which had in attendance, Broderick Bozimo, Senator James Manager and notable sons of Delta, Bayelsa and other states of the Niger
Delta region of Nigeria.
Chief Loyibo also emphasized the importance of unity and peace among people of the region and states as key to the overall growth and development in the area.
