Beneficiaries of some host and transit communities in Bayelsa, Delta, and Rivers States have thrown their weight behind the efforts of Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Limited (PINL) at protecting the environment against crude oil pollution.

They say the company also ensures peace among cluster communities living along the Trans-Niger Pipelines through community empowerment.

Responsible for the security and protection of the Trans-Niger Pipeline, Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Limited has been a major player in the fight against oil theft in the Niger Delta region.

Its module of recruiting community based contractors in partnership with the relevant security agencies has not only ensured security of the pipelines but also provided job opportunities for hundreds of natives.

Marching along the Ibilebiri/Oruma/Otuesega route in Bayelsa State, some PINL community beneficiaries from Bayelsa and River States express their gratitude to the company as they seek additional federal government support for its continued success.

In Warri, Delta State, Community Beneficiaries of Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Limited congratulated the management of PINL for its efforts to battle climate change, safeguard the environment, and alleviate economic suffering through citizen empowerment in the state.

With the support of these key players and community leaders, PINL is confident that at the end, it would ensure a safe and peaceful environment devoid of oil theft, especially along the Trans-Niger Pipelines.
