Incumbent president of the Nigerian basketball ruling body, Tijani Umar wants to return for a second term in office.
But he is faced with stiff competition from other candidates including Musa Kida who has promised to developed grassroots talents and explore Nigeria’s potential in 3 by 3 basketball.
Ahmedu does not trust the capacity and quality of the persons running basketball in the country and is calling for a change in the administration of the sport.
