The Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi has been shut, after a heavy downpour resulting in floods broke a bridge and killed four students there.
The school will remain closed for two weeks, and students have been asked to leave campus. They will resume on August 19th.

In a circular released by the university, the Vice-Chancellor commiserated with the parents, student union government, and the university community over the death.
