The Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai has reassured army officers that their welfare will be adequately taken care of during his tenure.
The army chief stated this on Tuesday at Bonny cantonment while commissioning the remodeled Nigerian army college of logistics students hostel and Army Reference Hospital Yaba in Lagos.
Represented by the chief of policy and plans, army headquarters Major General Raheem Yusuf, he said in the past three years, the Nigerian army has embarked on a number of interventions in the area of barracks renovation and construction, procurement of new equipment and rehabilitation of hospitals among others.
