Federal lawmakers, state chairman and other top members of the All Progressives Congress in Kogi state have asked for the immediate resignation of Governor Yahaya Bello over his double registration as an eligible voter.
The APC chieftains disclosed this at a news briefing in Abuja.
They commend the nation’s election management body, INEC, for detecting what they say is the governor’s fraudulent registration and nullifying the illegality.
The political leaders say they will mobilise their members in the Kogi state House of Assembly to begin an immediate impeachment process against Bello should he fail to resign.
