The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Ayoola Olajolo as the new Director of Administration at the Party’s National Secretariat.
A legal practitioner and public administrator with a wealth of experience spanning over two decades, Mr. Olajolo brings a formidable combination of legal expertise, grassroots political understanding, and high-level bureaucratic acumen to this important role.
A native of Ile-Ife in Osun State, Mr. Olajolo was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2016.
His journey in public service began early, with a deep commitment to grassroots development.
Between 1999 and 2003, he served as Secretary of Ife Central Local Government and subsequently as elected Chairman.
These foundational roles were crucial to cultivating his robust administrative skills and providing him with an intimate understanding of governance at the local government level.
Following his distinguished service in local government administration, Mr. Olajolo joined the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), where he further honed his expertise as a meticulous administrator and legal mind.
His dedication, competence and integrity saw him rise through the ranks to the enviable position of Assistant Chief Legal Officer, where he managed complex administrative and legal processes for the agency.
Mr Olajolo brings his experience in local government administration and diverse public policy perspectives to his new role as Director of Administration.
He will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative functioning of the National Secretariat, implementing innovative and efficient operational systems, managing human resources, and ensuring the seamless execution of the Party’s programmes and activities.
