The importance of routine exercise to health of serving personnel has been restated by the Air Officer Commanding, Mobility Command, Air Vice Marshal Sunday Aneke as the command partakes in the yearly March Exercise of the Nigeria Airforce in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
Regular exercise of the military personnel is deemed necessary by the Nigerian Airforce to enhance combat fitness and build up strength and mental endurance.
Partaking in the 2024 Route March exercise of the Chief of Air Staff in Yenagoa, officers and men of the Mobility Command Headquarters, Opolo embark on the regimental walk along the AIT/Elebele road alongside men from the 16 Brigade, Nigerian Army, among others.
Joined by the Air Officer Commanding, Mobility Command, Air Vice Marshal Sunday Aneke is represented by Air Vice Marshal Babatunde Ajayi who signifies the importance of the exercise to all personnel at the command.
Personnel are also encouraged to embark on routine exercise to enjoy good health and vitality.
Other commands are expected to engage in the yearly exercise to ensure their readiness for any eventualities.
