Dozens of celebrities and activists get together in New York city to take part in an annual event dubbed “The People’s State of the Union” a day ahead of U.S. President, Donald Trump’s State of The Union Speech to the Congress.
According to organizers, the event was held to celebrate the growth and success of the “Resistance Movement” and to outline a plan of action for the coming year.

While Trump is set to give his first State of the Union address with a broad audience – including stock investors.
In his speech, Trump is expected to tout the economy and recently enacted tax cuts while also emphasizing his calls for tougher immigration policies and for an infrastructure package.
