The Nigerian presidency is delighted with the successes recorded so far, in the war on corruption, especially the introduction of the whistle-blowing policy.
It believes that Nigerians exposing locations of looted funds deserve all the encouragement and protection promised by government.

The policy was approved at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council, chaired by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, who announced the new policy to State House correspondents at the time, described it as a stop gap initiative, until the National Assembly formally passes a law on whistle blowing.
Not many Nigerians believed that the policy would stand the test of time, but President’s media handlers are impressed by the public’s ready acceptance of the policy and assure them of government’s protection for whistle-blowers.

A presidential Investigative Panel was set up by the President under the Chairmanship of Professor Yemi Osinbajo to probe the suspended DG of the NIA Ayo Oke.
The Outcome of the report is scheduled to be presented to the President on Monday, May the Eighth.
