Image result for EFCCThe Compliance institute of Nigeria says a  new dawn has come in the fight against money laundering and financing terrorism.

This was revealed during the examining and induction of new designates and associates, officers present noted that  training is vital to the emergence of compliance officers who will serve as  a watchdog in the  financial institutions across the country.

According to them, the banking industry  has a key role to play if money laundering and other vices are to be curbed.
They also added  that the institute will be seeking a charter from the National assembly to enable it play its regulatory role more effectively .
