Chief of the Air Staff Air Marshal Oladayo Amao has charged Air Force troops at the front lines to sustain the tempo of operations until all insurgents and Bandits and criminal elements are completely eliminated and peace restored to troubled parts of the country.
Air Marshal Amao gave the charge when he hosted troops of operations Bada Namaki at a luncheon in Kaduna
The event is the chief of the Air staff luncheon with frontline troops of operation by the Milwaukee and wild punch at the Air Force Base in Kaduna.
These officers and troops have been in the front lines fighting banditry and terrorism in the North Central States comprising Niger, Abuja, Kogi States and even Kaduna.
The Nigerian Air Force through the state operations have continued to perform very critical roles in providing the much needed air support for the smooth conduct of ground operations by the land component.
Air support has been instrumental in containing activities of terrorists and other enemies of the state, denying them freedom of action and providing respite for Nigerians who have been on the receiving end of the excesses of these criminals
The day’s occasion provides an opportunity to not only bond with frontline troops but also to promote communion ship within the service.
The air Chief also charges the troops to sustain the tempo of air offensive against terrorists.
He said “we must sustain the tempo of our operations. We must not allow some disgruntled elements to make life difficult for the majority of Nigerians.
Earlier, the guest of honor Major General Lagbaja commended the leadership of the Nigerian Air Force for placing high premium on boosting the morale of troops at the front lines.
General Labaja assured the Air Force authorities of the Army’s constant support and partnership towards improving the security disposition of the region.
