The Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company, KAEDCO, has been sealed by the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service due to an alleged tax liability of N600 million.
Chairman of the agency, Mr. Jerry Adams, who led the task force, stated that the operation was conducted under a court order after exhausting all avenues for an amicable settlement.

The unpaid taxes are said to span from 2015 to 2022.
Mr. Adams emphasised the importance of voluntary tax compliance and urged businesses, individuals, and corporate organizations to fulfill their tax obligations.
