In a bit to tackle the menace of out of school Children in the northern region, the North East Development Commission says it is committed to providing a conducive learning environment for Children across the six states that made up the north East.
The alarming rate of out of school Children in the Northern part of Nigeria is a major challenge and setback for the region.
But Ending out of school Children syndrome and providing a better learning environment for them are parts of President Bola Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda.
Now, the North East Development Commission is taking the step in addressing this pressing issue by constructing a Mega School each across the six states that made up the sub region.
The Managing Director of the Commission gave the assurance during an inspection visit made by the house of representative committee on NEDC in Bauchi State.
The Reps Committee members and the NEDC team went round some projects embarked by the commission in Bauchi state.
The NEDC leadership and the reps Committee on NEDC commended president Bola Tinubu for his support to the region towards providing a brighter future for their Children.
