Former Head Of State, General Yakubu Gowon, has called for the lifting of sanctions on Niger, Mali and Burkina Faso.
General Gowon made this call while briefing the media in Abuja.
He had earlier met with President Bola Tinubu at the State House.
General Gowon was one of the founding fathers of the Economic Community Of West African States.
