An Ogbomosho-based chef, Temitope Adebayo, is on a mission to surpass the recent Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon.
The 42-year-old has already clocked 87 hours in the challenge, aiming to exceed the record set by Irish Chef Alan Fisher at 119 hours, 57 minutes, and 16 seconds.
Fisher claimed the title just two weeks ago, surpassing Nigerian Chef Hilda Bassey’s previous record of over 93 hours.

The cooking marathon is currently underway in Ogbomosho town, Oyo state.
