Armed bandits have killed a mobile policeman attached to Maru Police Division in a fresh attack on Ruwandoruwa community in Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara state.
The police man was shot dead in front of the district head’s residence while trying to repel the attack.
The bandits were also said to have abducted fifteen persons including the wife of the district head of the area.
TVC NEWS gathered that the terrorists invaded the community early hours of Sunday on motorcycles with sophisticated weapons.
Our source says the mobile policeman was fatally shot in front of the Traditional rulers House which led to his death.
Efforts to speak to police authorities prove abortive as the spokesperson of the Zamfara police command Yazid Abubakar is not responding to phone calls.
