Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara state has tasked the newly sworn in commissioners to let their projects, programmes and actions reflect the current economic realities in the country.
Also sworn in were the Secretary to state government and seven permanent secretaries including two physically challenged persons.
As characteristic of his administration, the swearing in ceremony was devoid of any flamboyance.
Like the governor’s first and second term inauguration ceremonies, this event was held inside the state council chamber.
First to pen the papers is Prince Mahe Abdulkadri as the Secretary to Kwara state government.
And one after the other, the new commissioners also follow suit.
Among the 17 commissioners are 9 males and 8 females.
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq recalls that his administration’s programmes have stabilized and repositioned different sectors of the state.
